Heavy Machinery“Heavy Machinery” is a work in progress. The illustrations include machines and systems drawn from the perspective of someone who doesn’t understand or can fathom how they work. It will reframe engineering and machinery as something that is absurd as each line that is drawn is trying to solve the problem that the last line created. It is an ode to growing up in the boom of smart devices and how new technology is constantly out of the grasp of our comprehension but also an ode to the “tat” that would interest me as a child. Heavy Machinery is less about the machines themselves and focuses more on our naive perceptions on how the world works.
